About this Talk

East Bay Regional Parks is in the middle of an ambitious sea-level-rise grading intervention as part of the planning for expanding Martin Luther King, Jr Park. We'll share the story of this park project, and show how we are going about substantially raising the level of some park areas through a multi-year process of surcharging the land to prepare for final grading at levels above projected future sea levels.
